Emma Currie is a dynamic pop/r&b/soul vocalist and songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. She was born into a musical family that included her great grandmother, a trained opera singer.

Emma Currie is a dynamic pop/R&B/soul vocalist and songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. She was born into a musical family that included her great grandmother, a trained opera singer.

Emma’s passion for music and performing began at age 11. By the time she was 13, Emma became a regular performer at her vocal lesson showcases, and at 15 she was a singer for her high school’s R&B band.

She has continued to perform at various events in and around the greater Vancouver area, including Canada Day 150 celebrations, Harmony Arts Festival, Surrey Holiday Lights, and the Vancouver Christmas Market. She’s performed at music venues, & weddings in BC and Ontario and has been a featured anthem singer for Jr. hockey teams in the greater Vancouver area, the Vancouver Canadians Minor League Baseball Team, and for the SMART 2017 BA Conference at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, BC.

Her talents have also led Emma into the recording studio. From 2017 to 2021, she released various singles, including “Midnight Sky”, “Klara”, and her cover of “If I Can Dream” by Elvis Presley. In May 2021, she released her first EP “Welcome to the Wild”, produced by accredited industry professionals, including Adam Stanton and Jamie Kuse.

Emma’s musical influences range from such artists as Shania Twain, Demi Lovato, Dua Lipa, & Leona Lewis, to Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley,  Céline Dion, and Stevie Wonder, just to name a few.

With a dynamic and powerful vocal range and an absolute love for the stage, Emma Currie has become a crowd favourite in just a few short years and is looking forward to entertaining for years to come!
