
Emma Currie is a dynamic pop/R&B/soul vocalist and songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. She was born into a musical family that included her great grandmother, a trained opera singer.
Emma’s passion for music and performing began at a young age. By the time she was 13, Emma became a regular performer at her vocal lesson showcases, and at 15 she was a singer for her high school’s R&B band which performed at multiple local community and school events. Emma continued her studies at Langara College completing the Singer/Songwriter Certificate Program, and at Capilano University which she graduated with an Arts and Entertainment Management Diploma.
She has performed at various events in and around the Greater Vancouver Area, including Canucks Sports and Entertainment events, Martini Town, the Harmony Arts Festival, the Shipyards Christmas Market, and the Vancouver Christmas Market. She has also been a featured anthem singer for the Vancouver Canucks, the Vancouver Giants, the Vancouver Warriors, the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the Vancouver Goldeneyes, and various equestrian events at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, BC. Additionally, Emma is one of the vocalists in the popular cover band, the Famous Players Band. She has performed with the band at various casinos around the Greater Vancouver Area, as well as weddings and corporate events around Canada.
